CALL FOR PAPERS
The American Institute of Higher Education (AmHighEd.com)
invites you to submit a paper/abstract for the Spring 2009
Conference on Business and Education. All accepted papers will be
published in the conference proceedings and will be considered for
further review for publication in one of our two journals:
American Journal of Business Research and American Journal of
Educational Studies both listed in the Cabell’s directory.

Important Dates to Remember:
- deadline for submitting refereed papers (maximum 20 pages
double-spaced, APA Style, following the instructions posted on the
conference website at www.amhighed.com ) and abstracts to one of the two
program chairs (Dr. Khalid Dubas for all the areas of Business including
Economics, Accounting and Health Care Management at
kdubas@uncfsu.edu;
and Dr. Pooneh Lari, for all the areas of Education including community
colleges, adult education and K-12 at
pooneh_lari@ncsu.edu )
March 2, 2009
(on or before) - results (acceptance, rejection) of refereed
paper reviews announced (to the authors).
M arch
15, 2009
- last day to submit files for the Proceedings to the Proceeding Editors
(5 pages limit).
March 20, 2009
– Last day for conference registration of at least one author of each
accepted paper (including the internet division). For the accepted
papers to be included in the proceedings, at least one author should
register for the conference by this date (www.amhighed.com )
April 1, 2009
– Preliminary conference Program available at the conference site
April 20, 2009
– Final Conference Program available at the conference website
April 29 – May 1, 2009
– Conference at Gaylord Hotel, Nashville Tennessee
May 28, 2009
- Submission of the complete and revised version of the papers to the
respected journals of AJBR and AJES.

Internet Division
If you can not physically attend
the Nashville conference then you can still participate in the
Internet Division of the conference. All manuscripts accepted for
participation in the Internet Division will also be included in the
conference proceedings and would be considered for an award and
publication in one of the two journals. All conference participants,
whether in person or in the Internet Division, are required to
register in order to be included in the conference program.
